This past quarter was filled with go-lives and cloud-enabled implementations, along with a continuous improvement drive to find better ways to automate the client lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement Hackathon

Recently, Fenergo's Research & Development and Professional Services teams hosted a Hackathon to explore how we can increase the level of automation testing across the application with special emphasis on leveraging outputs from the analysis phase as inputs to test automation. Significant opportunities were identified across Data Dictionary (screen definitions) and Workflow dictionaries to leverage for test automation purposes.

We also deployed Microsoft’s PowerBI for building metric-driven dashboards for project tracking and nightly projects builds, with automated regression packs now functioning and mandated on all new projects

 

EMEA Go-Lives

We saw a lot of successful activity through the quarter across Europe, with one major global bank going live utilizing our Hierarchy Manager feature to build out the relationship structures for a subset of no less than 140,000 of its corporate and non-corporate customers now migrated to Fenergo CLM.

In June and July, another major banking client expanded its use of Fenergo solutions by going live with another full branch.  The rollout included the following functionality:

  • Client Onboarding Workflow, Legal Entity Maintenance, Regulatory Updates, Product Onboarding, MiFID II Solution
  • Addition of FSCS (DGSD) Classification which was a PTC implementation
  • Addition of Libor Classification
  • Conditional Task Assignment
  • Major configuration of Risk Assessment
  • Reconfiguration of Document Matrix

This client now has two major branches live on the solution across Client Due Diligence, Client Services, Quality Control, and Financial Crime areas.

Another major banking client went live in June, with the addition of 250 users.  This is the latest part of the bank to benefit from Fenergo CLM, moving away from manually-intensive processes and onto an automated globally-connected platform.  The solution will allow all of the bank’s teams that are involved in the onboarding and client due diligence processes to effectively and efficiently manage the full client journey.

 

North America & Cloud 

Fenergo rolled out its first client on the AWS (Amazon Web Services) Cloud, deploying the latest major version of the solution.  This is a great example of how the Fenergo Way can deliver a smooth out-of-the-box implementation.

A North American branch of a major Asian bank was delivered into production on time, well within budget, and without any project defects.  The implementation allowed the client to meet its commitments to local regulators and avoid a multi-million dollar fine. The client continues to be extremely happy with the results and have been very complimentary of the team.
