What did you study? BSc in Enterprise Computing; DCU
What attracted you to Fenergo? They’re one of the fastest growing, internationally focused, Irish Fintech companies. I remember reading during the summer than Insight Venture Partners had invested 75m in the company.
What do you enjoy most about your role? It’s quite dynamic and I’m getting to meet a lot of great people on different teams. The tools are all there for me to develop my skillset and hit the ground running.
How would you describe the culture at Fenergo? There’s a very collaborative culture at Fenergo and there’s a good sense of community. Everyone is more than willing to help out if there’s any problems, and it’s quite welcoming as a new employee. Being situated in town means there’s always people going somewhere for lunch, or drinks on a Friday, which is a great way to get to know your colleagues better. The smart-casual dress code is also a plus!
Your advice to graduates thinking about a career in Fenergo? I would definitely apply, it’s a young Irish company that is only getting bigger and bigger. All you need is a willingness to learn and work hard, the people here know what they’re doing and you can get up to speed in no time!
