Role: Senior Product Analyst

Reporting to: Product Owner

Role Description

As Senior Product Analyst, you will work as part of our product delivery team on the analysis, definition and delivery of new product functionality. The role will involve a strong customer experience focus for client onboarding and lifecycle management in the Financial Services industry. You will be working closely with UX Designers, Product Owners, Developers and other Product Analysts to develop a growing Fintech product. The ideal candidate will be able to bring groups of stakeholders together, co-design feature requirements and translate these into user stories/product backlog items. As Fenergo has customers in worldwide locations, there are often great opportunities to work directly with clients on site, thus short-term travel flexibility is preferred.


Main Responsibilities

  • Research and analysis into business, regulatory and technical topics to support the formulation and specification of user stories/product backlog items and solution design
  • Work with internal and external business partners/clients to define and refine business requirements
  • Support the management of scope and delivery of product roadmap and releases
  • Ownership of the feature design process, working with the wider development team
  • Create detailed functional specification documentation for the Fenergo product in line with company and industry best practices
  • Provide ongoing support to the team in the delivery of product functionality
  • Review and QA the content that is delivered by the team
  • Publish relevant documentation for internal and external use, update and maintain product documentation suite
  • Support training and knowledge transfer of colleagues, creating artefacts supporting such knowledge sharing
  • Coach and mentor junior Product Analysts on the team with a people-first mindset
  • Initiate and drive change by collaborating with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders


Requirements

Required Experience, Skills & Education

  • 4+ years Business Analysis, Product Design or Management Consulting experience, preferably in the Financial Services of FinTech industry
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology discipline
  • Experience of working within agile software development lifecycle practices
  • Good knowledge of IT systems, architectures and terminology
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good presentation style and ability to lead workshops
  • Previous Fintech product knowledge
  • Experience with prototyping tools (Axure/Sketch)
  • Knowledge of Financial Regulatory topics and client lifecycle processes within the Financial Services industry
  • Experience working with the Fenergo product suite is highly desirable
