We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and hardworking Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Quality assurance team in our Engineering department.

You will have the responsibility of assuring quality of the deliveries of the Digitalisation team and contribute to the global team performance and agility. In addition, you will be one of the responsible for the automation of the API, and microservices testing and contribute to the team innovation efforts, as well assuring quality of the documentation and to updates to the Delivery Lead and QA Lead;

You will be highly professional, self-motivated, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills; you will have the ability to effectively manage as well as influence stakeholders. Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a cross-functional Agile team;
  • Perform a thorough analysis of user stories specs and acceptance criterion to ensure completeness and testability of requirements;
  • Be an active member of the team on stand-ups and refinements;
  • Prepare and demo the team work during sprint reviews;
  • Develop and implement automated API test scripts;
  • Maintain existing automated scripts (Postman / Javascript) and troubleshoots failures as needed;
  • Provide support to software support teams in diagnosing and resolving issues;
  • Contribute to the Performance and Security Tests;
  • Support software implementation and enhancement projects;
  • Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team while generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions;
  • Ensure that the final product is working correctly;
  • Documents and reports on issues found to product teams
  • Test user stories and retest issues found in a timely manner;
  • Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing the quality of the product and the team agility;

Required Experience & Skills:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Physics, Maths, or another logical degree with an element of programming or equivalent commercial experience;
  • Ability to talk to developers on a technical level integration API and automated user journey tests;
  • Experience with API testing;
  • Experience testing on cloud (e.g., Azure and AWS);
  • Familiarity with API tools such as Postman;
  • Familiarity with Performance tools such as JMeter;
  • Knowledge of Microservices and Event-Driven architecture;
  • Good level of scripting - ideally Javascript;
  • Have an interest in growing as a professional tester;
  • Continuous collaboration, embrace change and improve processes
  • Experience implementing best practice methodologies and processes
  • Excellent communication, documentation and reporting skills;
  • Excellent analytical problem determination and solving skills;
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams;


Education:

• Computer science/Information technology-related degree desirable;

• ISTQB Certified Foundation level preferred;
