Describe your typical working day?
Describe your typical working day: My day is split between people and technologies. Working in Sales and Marketing Operations, it is my job to make sure that Sales and Marketing are aligned in terms of data governance, systems and processes so there is a pretty even split between syncing up with both Sales and Marketing, learning their objectives and then helping to meet those objectives through the use of software systems such as our CRM and Marketing Automation system. I also am responsible for data governance and all of our Marketing reporting so I’m usually in pretty deep with statistics or historical data, analysing this and seeing how we can use this data to improve processes. Very varied and very enjoyable!
What qualifications do you have/what is your previous work experience?
I have a Degree from Dublin City University in Communications Studies and Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute.
What is the best thing about your job?
Best thing about my job: The people – I enjoy working with such highly energetic teams that support and empower each other.
And the biggest challenge?
Time! Biggest Challenge: Time – It waits for no woman and there is lots to do! Fenergo is working hard to become the industry standard for Client Lifecycle Management and there is a lot of work that goes into that. Trying to accomplish our goals globally takes time but that’s where my team comes in and we work together.
What advice would you give someone considering applying for a job with Fenergo?
After 4 years with Fenergo, I would still recommend it. It’s challenging but in a good way, everyone is empowered in their own careers – come to work, work hard, enjoy the career development and fantastic people.
